The appellation: The AOC Saint-Estèphe is the largest and most northerly of the six municipal appellations of the Médoc. The aging process generally differs depending on the classification: Grands Crus: 20 to 30 years, Crus Bourgeois: 15 to 20 years, Other crus: 15 years.

Dark, garnet ruby, slightly evolving. Deep and dense color. Open, open, with notes of cinnamon. Fine and delicate oak. supple attack, round palate, well-structured body. Still firm which reveals certain typicality. Notes of red fruits and finely woody spices.

The impressive burgundy dress reveals a purple outline. The classic and stylish bouquet smells of black cherry, currant and plum. We should also mention a subtle integration of floral aspects, balsamic (mint), mineral (graphite) and woody (cedar and toast) notes. On the palate, the wine surprises with its balance. Very catchy, it has a perfect harmony between very ripe tannins, a very concentrated acidity, a deep fruity heart (thanks to the Merlot grape) and finely interwoven woody flavors. The finish is powerful, long and announces a cellaring potential of several decades.

Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth. The bouquet reveals notes of cassis, violet, mocha, vanilla, spices and licorice. Black fruits, a note of freshness, often a woody or smoky aspect and a floral touch.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in colour. Aroma of red and black currants with earthy notes of fungi, dried herbs, damp soil. The palate is medium-bodied with a good fruit core, firm and chewy tannins and nice freshness.
