In 2021, Aaldering Vineyards & Wines launched the first edition of the Women of the World Pinotage Rosé, a magnificent rosé in a transparent magnum bottle with a beautiful work of art, making the bottle a collector's item.

It was an immediate success and the gift boxes flew off the shelves.

Aaldering Pinotage Lady M 2018

This unwooded Pinotage offers an explosion of dark fruit aromas on the nose consisting of Blackcurrants, Blueberries and Dark cherries. The structure is elegant and shows class. A true ode to the iconic Pinotage variety which expresses the quality of the Aaldering terroir.

Ageing Potential: This wine is unwooded and should therefore be treated as a white wine. It will age well between 3-5 years from vintage and was bottled with natural cork to allow the wine to breath and develop over the next few years.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 16 C - 18 C. Good match with smoked duck and pulled pork, or simply as an aperitif.

Aaldering Pinotage 2018 - SOLD OUT

Deep red with a dark purple rim in colour. Primary flavours of deep purple plums, prunes, cherry notes are balanced with forest floor and savoury notes. Dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and warm spice notes add to the complexity. The dark purple fruit follows through from the nose in this full-bodied wine, a complex and deep core enamours the taste buds whilst the tight tannins and balanced acidity adds length and longevity to this beautiful example of Pinotage.

Ageing Potential: Already drinking beautifully but will cellar well for another 10 years. Bottled with a natural cork closure, in order to ensure a unique ageing capacity.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 16 C - 18 C. Good match with venison, ribeye steak or lamb; preferably Karoo!

Aaldering Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Brilliant lime green colour with an explosion of passion fruit, guava, grapefruit and pineapple. A full-bodied wine with a mixing bowl of tropical fruit flavours, citrus and sits on the palate with a lingering freshness. The distinctive aromas support a wonderfully balanced palate, presenting purity of ripe fruit, coupled with a lingering harmonious finish.

Aaldering Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Pale straw hue with a slight green tint. White asparagus, green pepper and elegant floral notes on the nose with a hint of passion fruit. Flint and minerality ads poise and character. The medium bodied palate follows through with more green pepper and grapefruit that is balanced out with a restrained acidity.

Aaldering Chardonnay 2018

Golden straw hues with a richer golden rim. Caramelised orange peel, peach blossoms and citrus drops, supported by roasted hazelnut tones. Hints of buttered toast underpinned with a steely flintiness.

Marmalade, peach/apricot preserves supported by firm acidity. Full-bodied with well-integrated French Oak tannins, backed by a voluptuous creaminess on the finish.

Ageing Potential: Enjoy right now or age up to 5-7 years after the vintage. Bottled with a DIAM (taint-free) cork closure, in order to ensure a flawless ageing capacity.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 12 C - 14 C. Good match with tapenade or a Niçoise salad, a paella or grilled chicken, fish or lamb with herbs.

Aaldering Pinotage Rose 2019

Clean and crisp entrance, refreshingly dry with good acidity. A medium-bodied Rosé that is layered with sweet red berries. Hints of buttery, creamy notes add complexity to this serious and delightful Rosé, finishing off with a lingering aftertaste of red cherries and sweet strawberries.

Ageing Potential: Enjoy right now or age up to 3 years. Bottled with a natural (pressed) cork, in order to ensure a flawless ageing capacity.

Aaldering Pinotage Blanc 2020

A unique off-white onion skin hue separates this wine from the rest of the pack.  Prominent strawberry and candy floss aromas are supported by a medley of green apple, pear and banana notes. The sweet red berry flavours are balanced by delicate tart cherry flavours and hints of pink marshmallow and stone fruit. A round, creamy, full mouthfeel and minerality add to the complexity of this uniquely feminine expression of the Pinotage cultivar.

Ageing Potential: Enjoy right now or age up to 5 years after vintage thanks to the lively acidity. Bottled with an agglomerated cork, in order to ensure a flawless ageing capacity.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 10 C - 12 C. This Pinotage Blanc can be drunk in multiple occasions, also as an aperitif. One can pair this wine with seared salmon or tuna and a delicate aioli served on fresh garden greens sprinkled with cashews.

Aaldering Noble Late Harvest 2016

Intense golden hue. Beautiful Botrytis notes with honeycomb and apricots on the nose. Succulent flavours of dried pears and green figs together with wonderful sucrose and an elegant, lingering palate.

Ageing Potential: Enjoy right now or age up to 10-15 years. Bottled with a DIAM (taint-free) cork closure, in order to ensure a flawless ageing capacity. Once opened, this wine can easily be kept fresh in the fridge up to three weeks.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 16 C - 18 C. This Sweet dessert wines match well with almost any cheese, but the classic match of blue cheese with preserved fig on the side will leave you mesmerized. Also, any sweet desert-like apple pie or tiramisu will go very well.

Aaldering Florence Winemaker Selection 2018 - SOLD OUT

Attractive red fruit, plums and cassis aromas from the Cabernet Sauvignon combine well with black pepper undertones from the Shiraz. The palate is brimming with crunchy fruit with supple tannins and a velvety finish. Attractive herb and cherry on the nose, then succulent and spicy, generously proportioned cherry-ish fruit softened by background vanilla oak.
