Sommelier's Notes

The Domaine started its activity in the 1960s. Michel POULLEAU and his wife Jacqueline together exploited the vineyard. Then in 1983, their son Thierry joined them with their daughter-in-law who also jointed them later to manage the estate for the administrative and commercial part. After 1996 when Michel retired, the estate has headed by Thierry and Florence with the help of two ladies.


This is a red wine from Burgundy, France, made from Pinot Noir. This wine is produced in the village of Arox-Colden in Golden Hill. It has a deep ruby red color and is rich in red and black fruits. The tannins are as soft as velvet, and the taste is rich and smooth. The style is very elegant. This wine can be drunk alone or as a supplement to a variety of cuisines.


Ageing: 1 year in oak barrels, 20% of which are new barrels

Aging Potential: 7 to 10 years
