Appellation: Saint-Estèphe is located in the Médoc subregion of Bordeaux. Only red wines are produced in this appellation, most of which are blended with a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Estate: The history of (Château) Lafon-Rochet dates back to the 17th century. In 1960, Guy Tesseron, a Cognac tycoon, bought the estate and it has been family-owned ever since. Currently it is run by Basil Tesseron (Guy’s grandson), who continues the work of his predecessors with passion, humour and ambition.

Specifications
Bright red colour with brown reflections
A beautiful bouquet of aromas. Delicate, complex and pleasant nose with candied berries (raspberry, cherry), cooked wild peach, nutmeg, pepper, toasted brioche, tobacco and black mushroom.
The attack is smooth and delicate with silky tannins covering the mouth. Predominant taste of cooked fruits offers a long-lasting pleasure.
