An excellent Cabernet franc wine from the Bourgueil appellation in Loire Valley. Directly from the vineyard.

REGION: Loire Valley
Appellation: Bourgueil is an appellation for mainly red wines in the Loire Valley region. The red wines are made from Cabernet franc grapes (locally called Cabernet Breton), but can be mixed with 10% of Cabernet Sauvignon. Depending on the winemaker’s preference and the harvest, rosés are produced as well.

Estate: Damien Lorieux is a family estate in Touraine, Loire Valley. The estate produces light, structured and fresh wines through the combination of the family know-how acquired over three generations and state-of-the-art equipment for the winemaking process.

Purple red colour with ruby reflections.
A basket of red (strawberry) and black fruits (plum, blackberry) freshly engulfs the nose.
Velvety palate; fruity with some spicy notes such as chili pepper and capsicum. A short but amazing finish with a tinge of acidity.
